Paint encyclopedia

A combination of different materials is used for various purposes, including protection, decoration, information, health and physical properties. Paint and coatings may be liquid or solid, and when applied to the surface, they will exhibit a protective, decorative or other property.

Color components include resin, pigment, solvent and additives. Resin creates the most colored paint properties, such as adhesion, optical properties, and mechanical properties, as well as solid-colored components in the dispersed matrix. Pigments not only determine the color of the color, but also create other properties such as coating, optical properties, and corrosion resistance.

The main role of solvents is to adjust the final viscosity of the paint. Additives are compounds that are added in small quantities to enhance or modify the main properties of the final coating during the manufacturing, storage, or application of coating materials.
